What I’m Putting In My Sons Easter Basket

Hello and happy weekend! We are so excited to celebrate Easter this year and fill our sons Easter basket! Our son is finally old enough to appreciate new items! My husband and I are not ones to buy him toys just because. We are very fortunate to have friends and family that spoils him during the holidays and for his birthday (love them!) and we are able to hold some items back and give them to him throughout  the year. We always let him know who got him the item and sometimes he will even reference that person when playing. Adorable! Moral of the side story about toys I shared above (ramble much Alyssa?); we probably went a little over board on his Easter items!

Easter Basket:

Basket: Pottery Barn Kids Natural Sabrina Easter Basket

Personalized Liner: Pottery Barn Kids – Bunny Basket Liner

Easter Basket Contents:

Little Tikes Gas ‘n Go Mower – I think this will be his absolute favorite item! He loves pushing things around the house and has recently wanted to push things around the neighborhood when we go for walks.

Crayola Color Wonder Art Kit – He loves to color & this momma is all about the mess free coloring kits! I like that this comes with a carrying case for his coloring sheets and markers.

Indestructible Books: Baby Peekaboo  & Baby Faces – We love Indestructible books!

Peek a Flap Board Books – Zoo and Moo – We love books in general and peekaboo is one of his favorite games so I had to grab these when I saw them.

Caterpillar CAT Glow Machine Dump Truck – Another favorite in our house is trucks!

Personalized Wet Bag – Is this not the best bag you have ever seen? I love the navy color and am all about anything personalized. I ordered it from a shop on Etsy called Petunias By Kelly and plan on using it as a storage bag rather than a wet bag. As my son gets older, we find ourselves toting less “stuff,” around (can I get an AMEN?) and this is perfect to hold a change of clothes, a few diapers (or extra underwear – fingers crossed that is coming soon!) and other necessary baby/toddler items. You can then just throw this into your purse or bag if you don’t want to lug around your diaper bag.

Toddler Sandals – I bought these at Babies R Us and cannot find them online to link them. I have been trying to spend my final gift cards before they close! I have linked similar pairs, here, here and here.

Toddler Water Shoes – I also brought these at Babies R Us and cannot find them online but have linked similar pairs that I love here and here.

We may add a few smaller items such as a set of toothbrushes (we loss those things all the time around here), socks, bubble bath, crayons, snacks and what not but overall our Easter Basket is complete and we couldn’t be more excited for Easter Weekend!

UPDATE: We have added the following additional items since originally publishing this post.

Five Big Trucks (Pop Out & Play) – The trucks on each page pop out for your little one to play with!

Hanes Socks – These things seem to disappear around here! We like the price tag on these basic ones from Hanes!

Crayola Bathtub Crayons – When life is already messy, add bathtub crayons to the mix? Right?

What did you get your little (or big) ones for Easter? Let me know in the comments below!
