March Purchase Round Up & Review – Style Edition

Welcome to my purchase round up & review for the month of March! I am going to be sharing my purchases for the month and sharing the good, bad and sometimes brutally honest review on each item!

Clothing

Free People Laguna Thermal (linked here & here)- No surprise here, I purchased another color in this thermal! I already have sand, grey and dark green and added the light blue this month. I got it on sale for 29.99$ and couldn’t be happier with the price. Absolutely love these tops as they as exceptionally comfortable and not hard on the eyes either.

Free People Woodstock Cardigan – This cardigan is beautiful! The fringe detail along the hem is amazing and I love the pocket detail.

Ruched Body Con Tank Dress – This thing fits like a glove and I am okay with it (provided I am wearing my trusty spanx)! I purchased the color “coral cedar heather” on sale for $33.60 and I am hopeful some of the other color options will go on sale too!

Free People Aster Henley – NOT GOOD – INSTANT RETURN! I wanted to love this top so badly. I even ordered it in two sizes to be sure I got the right fit. I’m usually all about a spacious, yet cute shirt but this looked horrible on me. I asked my husband for his honest opinion (we have an agreement that I cannot get mad at him when I ask for his honest input) and he promptly told me it looked like a tent on me. Not to mention it is ALOT shorter in the front than the back. Not the good kind of tunic shorter in the front detail; the bad kind of show the world the mommy gut you are working with kind of bad. However, I have seen it look adorable on some people so don’t let my GIGANTIC negative review deter you if interested.

Zella Leggings – These are high waisted, supportive and stay in place! The print I ordered is not my favorite but I got them on sale and will live with them.

Lace Racerback Bralette – I ordered this in black and absolutely love it. It is incredibly comfortable and I have been wearing it with slouchy, loose or off the shoulder tops. There is no underwire so don’t get crazy with your activity if you are wanting your girls to stay in place perfectly. Otherwise it is supportive for a bralette and so pretty. It is also a steal at $20.00.

Shoes

Marc Fisher LTD “Adalyn” Wedge – These wedges are so good! The color cognac is stunning and more importantly they are so comfortable! The price point was daunting for me at first so I used my Nordstrom Note and a gift card to purchase them. Knowing how much I love them now I can honestly say I would pay full price. These could easily be your only summer shoe purchase and I have full confidence you would love them as well!

Husband

Cole & Coddle Shirt Set – My husband gets so excited when someone tells him how much our son looks like him so I couldn’t resist getting him the “Copy and Paste” t-shirts! He also has the “You’re Killing Me Smalls,” set also!

That’s a wrap! My March Round Up & Review – Beauty post is coming soon! What were some of your favorite purchases from March? Let me know in the comments below!

    Hello ,

I saw your tweet about animals and thought I will check your website. I like it!

I love pets. I have two beautiful thai cats called Tammy(female) and Yommo(male). Yommo is 1 year older than Tommy. He acts like a bigger brother for her. 🙂
I have even created an Instagram account for them ( https://www.instagram.com/tayo_home/ ) and probably soon they will have more followers than me (kinda funny).

I have subscribed to your newsletter. 🙂

Keep up the good work on your blog.

    Regards
