Hello! Long time, no post. I have been enjoying the holidays and snuggling up with my little one. Before we know it, it will be time for me to go back to work and him to go back to daycare. We had the most wonderful holiday season with our friends and family and hope you did the same!
When it comes to holiday gifting for our son Emerson, we usually don’t go too crazy with toys or “fun,” items/activities. We know just how spoiled and loved he will be by our family members. We typically try to do something for him that he truly needs and let’s be real – I am the queen of re-wrapping. Meaning, I “hold back,” gifts he previously received that were never opened and re wrap them for him. He has no idea, and we save money so it’s a win-win in my book lol. However, he is a smart cookie and is starting to notice when his gift miraculously disappear. We are thinking we may not get away with this for much longer.
Emerson’s big gift this year was a new big boy room! He absolutely loves dinosaurs so I went with a subtly dinosaur theme! I’m all about a neutral color scheme that can be changed and updated easily. I was so excited to bring this space to life and give him a space that will grow with him. He is still sleeping in his current room in his crib which I am totally fine with. Once he is ready (and we have purchased bed rails, or bumpers) he will start using his big boy room! I have included images with links to items below. Hope you enjoy!
